Song #1 "SORRY"

The Current song im working on “Sorry”, was a song i started working on early summer as part of a toplining class. Eventually (about 3 weeks later) I actually began to find chords for it at home, and found an interesting array of ones that worked with my melody. Originally the song had nothing to do with me, just being about a guy who just wanted to connect more with his girlfriend, while the girl just wanted him for “other reasons” (if you catch my drift). The Song eventually changed significantly due to personal events i was experiencing at the time. It soon transformed to a similar theme, of trying to connect with someone even though they are indifferent, but it was no longer the same vibe, and was a definitely less sexually charged.

As the song changed the verses immediately showed a lot of contrast, but the chorus actually ultimately has remained the same, other than the change of “be a little more than physical”, to “get a little off my mental”. I found the 1rst little recording blip of this song. ITS AWFUL. Since it was just a little notes recording so i could not forget it, its bad. Im including it to see the progress the song has taken.
