Two New Songs

Although I unfortunately did not get to finish the Holiday song (which I'm saving for a later date), After the holidays I made a lot of progress on two new songs. The working titles for both are "Girls and Lies" and "Standstill". "Standstill" has made the most progress. I currently have all the words written, the guitar and bass part recorded, and a rough vocal track. I know that I can finish it this weekend, and either master it next week, Or maybe just finish all of it on sunday.

"Girls and Lies", is a more poppy track (not for the EP). It is fast, and the style is very reminiscent of old Childish Gambino/ Kyle. The track was started from me just playing around with midi, and then I just kept going, until a song developed. I had all the vocals written and recorded, but I hated the melody and most of the vocals. I am currently rewriting them, along with adding parts to the track.

There will be two separate blog posts about each song within the week. They will include lyrics, recordings, changes, and other general things.
