Stand Still update

At this moment, all background instrument tracks for "Standstill", are finished.

The root of my problem has been stemming from my vocal tracks. All though I like the words and the song, I do not like my vocals for the song. Recently I was told I should try to collaborate more, so I decided to ask a friend to sing on the track. I decided on my friend Afton, who has a deeper female RnB voice. I am deciding if I want her to sing the whole song, or maybe make it a duet. At the moment Im leaning towards duet, especially since its on my EP. My first verse track is definitely my least favorite spot, so I think I could give that part to her. My possible order goes as follows:

Verse 1: Afton

Chorus 1: Afton

Verse 2: Riley

Chorus 2: Riley

Guitar solo

Chorus: Both

Since I've already figured out/ recorded background vocals and harmonies, it would be easy for the other person to sing background, while one is singing the main melody. I also can now include accompaniment parts that I liked, but I thought were too weird coming from my own voice.

I have to send her the audio of what I want her to do and find time to record, which is hard to do this week, due to scholarship deadlines.

While I wait to record the final touches so I can finish it, I am starting recording on "Shoulder Talk".
