Sorry On hold.

I had a gig over the weekend at a winery and I performed the current state of “Sorry”. I definitely decided I either need to work on it, or scrap it. I thought the pacing was a little weird. I also don't really like how the words sound. I think they are kind of bland. My chorus (the one thing I liked) I also didn't like. The melody of it was lackluster, and hard to say without needing a breath to finish. The issue with throwing in a breath is that it messes up the pacing of the chorus, so I can't do it. In previous experiences I’ve had songs I hated, than i've spent some time apart from them and came back to it. I’ve found I either still hate, or I now like it, and add some additional fixes to where I really like it. When I set out to do this I promised I wouldn't move on to another song until I finished one, but the plan has changed. Although I’m Begrudgingly doing it, I’m moving on to another song for now. I want to work on my song “Autumn” (current name). I like the lyrics and the guitar is pretty, i’ve also gotten push from some friends to work on it. I will come back to “Sorry” as my 5th song, but for now I need some time away from it.
